Solution Strategists, Inc., headquartered in Cranford, NJ, was delighted to host an all day conference aboard the
USS Intrepid on Monday, October 20, 2003. Nearly 140 clients, prospects, exhibitors, strategic partners, and members of the press attended this exciting and educational symposium geared toward using accounting and business management software. Because the
USS Intrepid was closed to the public, we had complete access to the Hanger and Flight decks, in addition to all the exhibits.
Registration and continental breakfast began at 8:00 am. Each attendee was given a personalized itinerary and a binder with all presentation materials, a MAS 90/200 shortcuts mousepad, name badge, and a USS Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum carryall bag. The day started with networking, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, fresh fruit, and coffee.
At 8:45 Art Nathan, SSI President, welcomed everyone in the Lutkin Theater, a state-of-the-art IMAX-type theater. He then introduced keynote speaker, Taylor Macdonald, Sage Software's Senior Vice President, who kicked off the conference. Taylor's speech was inspiring and he commended Solution Strategists' strong commitment to providing outstanding products and service. He thanked everyone for attending and for being part of the Sage Software family.
There were ten concurrent break-out sessions, which provided in-depth instructions on a wide variety of topics, each followed by a stimulating Q & A session:
- Core Accounting - 101 and 102
- Personalizing MAS 90/200 - 101 and 102
- Distribution 101 and 102
- Reporting Tools - Crystal and FRx -101 and 102
- CRM - Customer Relationship Management
- Human Resource Software
These were followed by a general session entitled "MAS 90/200 Today and Tomorrow," presented by Craig Jacobs of Sage Software, and included an in-depth demo of MAS 90/200's next release (version 4.0).
Attendees also had the opportunity to visit our partners in the exhibit areas to learn about their products and services. Following the General Session was a drawing for prizes, donated by our exhibitors and partners. The prizes included two wireless mice, a DVD player, an American Express gift check, valuable software modifications, T-shirts, and more.
